Lynne Noonan
As a psychologist I work to help you with the challenges of your life, with becoming the best version of yourself, or with relationships. In therapy, the assets you use in your everyday successes are as important as the issues you want to work on. We can use your strengths in treatment planning. I use a variety of theories but prefer insight oriented therapy that focuses on Carl Jung's theoretical tenets.

I grew up in Western North Carolina and love working here again. I can collaborate with your other providers to create a plan for comprehensive treatment.

2020 to Present
Return to Private Practice in Waynesville.
2016-2020
Worked at the Naval Hospital Beaufort. I provided care to Active Duty Marines and Sailors, hospital staff, retirees, and dependents. Co-facilitated A Life Worth Living. Earned a certificate as a Fellow at the Jung Institute in Chicago.
2015-2016
Worked at the Marine Corps Air Station Beaufort. I worked with Active Duty Marines as the Internal Behavioral Health Consultant, coordinating care with their flight surgeons and other care providers. Completed a two-year Clinical Training Program at the Jung Institute in Chicago.
2000-15
Private Practice in Waynesville, NC. I worked with individuals, couples and groups. I worked with ages 6-88. Theoretical orientation is eclectic with a focus on insight oriented therapy.
